What age is this product suitable for?

This specific product is recommended for 3 – 8 years, but the entire MODU system grows with your child. It can be used from tummy time for babies all the way up to primary school age. The blocks are age-adapting and develop children's physical and creative skills over time.

Which MODU set should I choose?

The Curiosity Set is a great starter kit with over 10 creations. The Explorer Set is our medium size with over 15 creations, and the Dreamer Set is our largest set offering more than 25 creations. All sets are designed for kids aged 0-6 years and are fully compatible, so you can always expand later!

What can my kids build with this product?

With this product, you get More than 10 possibilities. Every larger set includes an inspiration booklet with clear instructions for numerous creations, but you can also build freehand. As a modular system, you can mix and match to your heart's content, expanding your collection according to your family's needs.

How do I keep the MODU blocks clean?

The materials are very resilient to dirt and marks. You can pop the toys in the dishwasher (we recommend a short, energy-saving programme at max 40°C), bring them into the shower as a fun bath time activity, or simply wipe them down with hot water, mild soap, and a soft cloth.

What materials are the toys made of?

The building blocks are made from 100% recyclable EPP foam, which is durable, lightweight, and soft, making it perfect for indoor play without worrying about scratched wooden floors or noise. The connector pegs are made from non-toxic, food-grade ABS plastic. Everything is free of harmful chemicals and child-friendly.

How much weight can Balance Track withstand?

Are the toys safe for babies?

Yes! All MODU blocks and pegs are tested according to the strict European Standard for Toys (EN71). The materials are free from phthalates and BPA, making them completely safe for babies to bite, chew, and tumble on.

Made in Netherlands and Denmark. We partner with carefully selected manufacturing companies and source all our materials locally.

We offer a 100-day returns policy, giving you plenty of time to consider your purchase. As long as the product is unused and in its original condition, you can easily return your order for a full refund within 100 days.

Can I combine this product with other MODU sets?

Yes, absolutely! MODU is a fully modular system. All blocks, pegs, and wheels are universally compatible across all our products. You can easily mix and match, add extra parts, or combine sets to build even bigger creations.

Will the blocks scratch my wooden floors or make noise?

Not at all. The EPP foam is soft, impact-absorbent, and gentle on all types of indoor flooring. Because the material is foam, it absorbs sound, meaning no loud crashes when the blocks are knocked over or dropped.

How do I store the blocks when not in use?

MODU is easy to store. You can stack the blocks compactly and slide them under a bed, or better yet, build them into a functional piece of children's bedroom or playroom furniture like a small table, a stool, or a display shelf when playtime is over.

What motor skills does MODU help develop?

MODU encourages active play that enhances core stability, balance, coordination, and spatial awareness. Building the toys strengthens logical thinking, while riding, rocking, and balancing actively train the child's gross motor skills.
